Terms and Conditions

The winner will be the player receiving the trophy on the final day of the tournament. The result of any playoff will count.Bets on any player who fails to tee off in the first round will be void. Bets on any player who subsequently withdraws or is disqualified will be losers. In the event that a tournament is reduced from the scheduled number of holes, we will use, for settlement purposes the official result as given by the sanctioning Tour. The only exception to this is that we reserve the right to make all outright bets void on a tournament that is played on different golf courses.Bets placed after the completion of the final completed round will be void.

b) 2/3 ball betting (strokeplay events)

The player with the lowest recorded score is the winner.

We will normally offer a price for the tie in 2 ball betting, but not in 3 ball betting. Where players shoot the same score, and we have not offered a price for the tie, then dead heat rules apply.

Should any of the named players in a two or three ball fail to complete the 18 holes in that round, then all bets on that two or three ball will be void.

c) 72-hole Match/Threesome Betting

The winner will be the player achieving the highest placing at the end of the tournament (playoffs included). If one player misses the cut, the other is deemed the winner. Where both players miss the cut the lowest score after the cut has been made will determine settlement. If one player is disqualified, either prior to the completion of two rounds or after both players have made the cut, the other player is deemed the winner. If a player is disqualified during either the 3rd or 4th rounds, when his opponent has already missed the cut, the disqualified player is deemed the winner. A price will be offered for the tie and in the event of a tie bets on either player to win will be lost. Where a match bet involves three players (threesome) the conditions listed above will apply, except in the event of a tie where dead heat rules will apply. Non-runner - threesome void.

d) Group betting

Where we offer betting on groups of players (e.g. Top European player) a deduction equivalent to Tattersalls’ Rule 4(c) may be applicable if one of the players becomes a non runner.

GENERAL TERMS

  1. All outright winner bets are settled on the player winning the tournament. If the tournament is shortened for any reason, bets will be settled on the basis of the official result in accordance with the tournament rules.
  2. Dead heat rules apply for all group and three-ball betting, except where the winner is decided by a play-off.
  3. All bets will be settled on the basis of the official scorecard of the relevant tournament.

PLAYER HOLE/ROUND SCORES

  1. If a round or hole is abandoned, bets on any completed rounds/holes will stand. Bets on any uncompleted rounds/holes will stand provided those rounds/holes are completed on a subsequent day(s). If a round is abandoned and there is no further play in the tournament, bets will be void unless they have already been settled.
  2. Bets on any player who abandons a round/hole will be void unless those bets have already been settled. For example where a bet is offered such as ‘Player round score’, the bet will be settled once the player shoots the highest offered outcome, even if the player later abandons their round.
GROUP SCORES
  1. For the purposes of these golf rules a group(s) means a group of players teeing off together as defined and published by the relevant tournament organiser on the tee time schedule. Group scores will be the sum of the scores of all of the players in the group on the particular hole.
  2. If a player abandons their round on any given hole, bets on the group score for that hole will be made a ‘No Contest’ and stakes refunded unless the highest offered outcome has been met.
